Nice tutorial. Ive just finished a fairly easy project transplanting an 8" 800x600 digital frame into a much nicer real timber frame from IKEA. The difference is I opted for a square frame and matteboard. You lose a few pixels either side of the image but it looks very cool. Basically you end up with 600x600 visible pixels to work with and square format photos look really nice. Maybe one day I'll mod a larger frame.
