the other day i shot basically the same shot couple post down of with my new leica point and shoot. v-lux so today i shot basically if not the same flower with my 1ds.

Having had some time this evening to really compare the two, I have to say that there's no comparison. The difference in colour saturation can always be changed after the fact, but I really prefer this one for the shallow depth of field. The Leica has a great lens, without a doubt, but a small sensor can't render the background the way a bigger chip can.

It's a really interesting comparison, and thanks for posting it.
