30 minutes after sunset, Morro Bay Harbour
#1

As the title says, this was shot around 30 minutes after sunset, and the image is probably brighter than the scene actually was.

Two versions of the same image, there is so much dead space I had to try the crop, but I really like the smooth water in the full version. Had a hard time with the horizon and still feels like it run down hill. Shoreline was angled away, as well as reducing in height as it goes.

I have other attempts with a wider aperture and shorter exposure, but those didn't achieve what I wanted with the water.

5DIII, 30 seconds, ISO 160, F/29, 64mm.

Craig, look very dark on my monitor, and yet it should be darker. But if you got as intended, that's it. Intresting to so some of your other pics.
I see potential via P/S, for a pleasing, to me, shot.

Posting to see both on my monitor, in case the site "Modify's" them. Ed.

To each his own!

This one is really looking nice. But yes the original shot is also very good.
