A few from the parade
#1

Yes, it's Carneval in Germany!

Actually, it is called Fasching in many places except Cologne, and we don't exactly
live in a Carneval hotspot either, but at least there was a parade in the afternoon yesterday.

I am just showing you a few shots in no particular order.

Ahoi! and Enjoy!

Uli

5) Not everyone was happy that day. The cold weather was particularly getting
to the kids, who had been waiting around to start marching.

Hi Uli,

Thanks for sharing these. What stands out to me is the colour in these shots versus the subdued tones in your China shots.

Canon stuff.

#3 is my favourite, but the balloons in the background of #12 makes for a very apocalyptic image. It's quite a contrast with the clowns.

thanks guys,

Chris, I think there are two components to this, one being the actual colors (and the lack of them) in China,
but a second one also being me still playing with processing images from the 5D. I ventured into very warm
color temperatures here, so the yellows really sparkle Wink
