Hi, Pavel! Want a quick fix? I tried something with your image that you suggested to me recently. Move the top slider in Levels a bit to the left, perhaps colour correct a little and your portrait should look very good. It's just that easy. A great shot. I think G will like it.
Regards.....Dennis

This is a good picture. The composition is good and the focus and lighting are great. I would suggest a tighter (squarish) crop, and probably do it in black and white, cause it simply just looks better, i think. I know this isn't photoshop playground, but I couldn't resist doing my take on it.
My interpretation: I simply cropped, converted to greyscale using channel mixer, and dodged and burned a little.

I like your crop, Rabid. For me the B&W is a bit too contrasty and light in the face (cheeks and nose seem bright). It may be my relatively new and bright monitor. However the idea of B&W does apeal to me. Thanks Pavel

Thanks Dennis. I think it describes G well when he is having a good time. I owe a great deal to his great lens. now THAT is sharp (and heavy and big and costly).
