A small river leisurly flowing through village of Franca near Braganca
#1

This was a charming river which was dammed by the villagers as it flowed through and it created charming pools. Again, comments are very welcome.

By not having the dark tones of the other version of this photo, I feel like I'm able to explore this scene and the photo is much more satisfying. The central area is still brighter, but not som much that it dominates. Instead, it acts as a hub for the activity around it. I particularly like the way the trunks, reflections, and branches forms a diamond pattern around the frame.

You are attentiveMathew. I deliberately did not reveal that the two postings are of the same image with different post-processing. The reality was much loser to the other darker photo. This one jumped in as I played with the image in the Lightroom. It gives me this Monet feel and I really liked it so I kept it. I am glad you liked it too, although I know that this is not your kind of image in your current phase.
