I like it very much. The HDR works well for this photo.

Thanks M. I thought the HDR was quite subtle - good spotting.

It is subtle, but I know there's no way to get the blue sky and the rear tire inside the fender in one photo. If it wasn't for that detail I wouldn't have guessed, and I doubt a non-photographer would even think about it. It looks like a natural scene.

Love your treatment in this one. I like also your composition.
I really don't know why but this kind of pictures work really well with HDR treatment.
Did you take some more details of the pick up?

A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art.

It was a pretty good exposure to begin with - but the HDR helped to bring in a bit more detail. Thanks.

nice composition!
I agree, there would have been no way to get it this balanced without HDR.
Like it, even though having environmental concerns.... :o

Ooo: I've just noticed that word has "mental" in it.

Smile

Rob, was your HDR from 2 exposures and in Photoshop, or one raw redone in something like Photomatix?

One exposure - tone mapped with Photomatix. I was in a rush (family waiting in the car) - no time for tripods and multiple exposures...

Great perspective. That truck wants to travel to truck heaven.

Nikon D3100 with Tokina 28-70mm f3.5, (I like to use a Vivitar .43x aux on the 28-70mm Tokina), Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye, Quanteray 70-300mm f4.5, ProOptic 500 mm f6.3 mirror lens. http://donschaefferphoto.blogspot.com/
