Adam's IR wanderings.
#1

Just to share some IR shots taken in the past week, wandering around with my IR camera.

I like taking photographs with folliage, it usually emphasises that IR 'effect'

While waiting for the bus... I like how this came out - straight out of the camera, no editing

the lone tourist

When I'm walking around by myself, there's no one to take photographs for me. I'm a tourist in my own city.

These are all very impressive adam. I have to admit that I know nothing about IR photography.
Am I correct in assuming this is one of those things that simply can not be recreated in photoshop?

Thanks smarti77 Big Grin
Emulations of the effect could possibly be recreated in photoshop, but I prefer the *real thing* Smile
And after saying that, I do often put the photographs from the camera through Photoshop to do some changes (such as Red & blue channel swapping to get the blue sky).

I have always admired your IR pictures Adam. You worked very nice your composition in these ones.
I like a lot "bus only".

A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art.

I think using IR lamps is possible! Big Grin

I was thinking of the TV nature programs that use it for night scenes. Badgers/foxes/owls, etc.
Although the shots come out in blue/black and white/grey.
