I love The Old Lasalle Hotel image, the lens distortion and contrast make it almost look like, hmm, what? I don't know, but it's really something else. I actually like that the sky is blown out, but you can see the blue of the sky in the shadow and in the windows.

I like #2 as well, Don... and I also like a lot your post processing in #1. I think it works nicely here specially in the fence... Smile
