#2 has been nicely composed. Great shot. You can almost feel the cold. The other three do nothing for me.

Hi Jericho:

Thanks for your comment. Has it become fashionable to say "does nothing for me"?

Thats such a cold form of rejection.

Its just my way of saying, they "do nothing for me". Not in a good way nor a bad way. This does not mean I think they are bad or poor photos. I freely comment when I find your photos well composed, or interesting perspectives, or nicely contrasted etc. etc. The fact that I say they do nothing for me, means just that - art is purely subjective. I once remember a painting of 7 vertically colored stripes sell for 3.7 million dollars. In that particular case... it did nothing for me. It was just that.... seven vertically colored stripes.

Alright Don. I'll offer the good with the bad. *for what its worth, its just my personal opinion, which in the grand scheme of things means very little*

#1. I find the first picture very distracting. There is no focus or point of interest. You are right, its a picture of a "bus shelter."
#2. I like this shot very much. You can almost feel the cold through the picture. Nicely composed. Makes you wonder what she is thinking at that very moment. Nice shot.
#3. I am consistently drawn to the bright light in the corner which takes away from the silouhette of the tree. Once again, too distracting.
#4. I just don't find this one interesting. Shutter loves it.

I greatly appreciate your ability to take pictures of the everyday "things". Its refreshing. But, some of it just does nothing for me.... Smile

Thanks, Jerry. I'd rather hear the negative than just the phrase. I'm not so emotionally attached to any pictures or photography for that matter that I can't be criticized. I'm not a great photogrpaher and I have nothing to defend. I'm glad you offer your real opinions. Thank you.

Hi Don,

From the serie I like very much #2, I think she is proyecting the environment in winter... I don't like much winter... it is too cold...
