This is a shot taken looking up the Chicago river from the Miracle Mile.

The first is the original, second with some HDR post processing & the third a crop of the second.

Does the HDR enhance the original? Does the crop enhance the shot?

I like the color intensity that the HDR brings, but I don't like the added noise. Also, I think a better crop would be right after the flag on the left (so just cropping it out). Other than that, great photo!

Buildings need straightened generally. HDR, to me. a bit over cooked, good potential though. Ed.

I'm not keen on the HDR one personally and I think if you crop the flag you need to crop the right side slightly to keep the balance.....or clone out the flag!.

Thanks all for the input. Will try toning down the HDR abit and see if I can work out a way to straighten the buildings.
