Cliche portrait...
#1

My daughter Megan all wrapped up in the christmas table cloth...A cliche image, I know but I like it. The original was underexposed and she wouldn't let me take another. The post processing to brighten it up was a challenge.

All comments and suggestions greatly appreciated...

That's very cute!

Did you brighten up the left half of her face a lot (right sight of the pic as we look at it)? It looks like you got some artifacts there. If the lighting was set up that way, I think you can have a shadow in her face, you don't need to lighten it much so her face looks evenly lit.

This is a beautiful portrait of your daughter Shane...

I like what you did, but I see a redish line in the edge of the lit area, It might well be my monitor...

I would try to get an HDR image, as you have all the info you could work with 6 or 7 different exposures not to have it too much noise and to blend better the colors.

A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art.
