Well done Simon. This is a great sporting capture on your part and a reasonable scrummage from your lads team. Twickers next stop, or maybe county level first? Smile

Regards.

Phil.

Thank you for posting - I would also be interested in seeing the color version if you would like to post it as well.

Hi Barbara
This is the colour version. It was taken late afternoon and the end of the summer so the warm cast is from the setting sun.

Phil, the lads have just lost out in the County cup final, but to be runners up in Leicestershire at their age group is no mean feat. Very proud of them.

Simon, this is a very good and very sharp capture, showing the power of the scrum and the moment the ball is won by the hooker. I think mono really suits this subject and, having tried an edit of your colour image, I prefer a simple conversion - no tint and no vignette.

Cheers.

Awesome photo! I think you edited it perfectly, I prefer it like that - draws the eye to the action, rather than the colors.

Funny you should say that Philip, I have a mono print as you describe framed on my shelf at home! But I think I like the one I posted at the top, As Knox says, it does draw the eye to the action area around the ball.

Thanks for all the positive comments folks.

Simon Rose Congrats on a perfect Pic, I love both, but I think I prefer the color in this realm. Excellent such a hard shot to get and you did it with what looks like ease! Di
