I took this series last time I was in Eekholt a wildlife park... Unfortunately, both came out with different post processing, I will have to work to make them look the same color... I think...
This one is a bit colder.. maybe a bit warmer would be better as the one before...

Yes, this is the 5D with the 100-400mm lens.

The first does have very nice colour. The lighting seems a slight different so the tones will be effected.

You are right... the light was different...
In the second one I was afraid the background would be disturbing so I desaturated it...

That must be some camera, can see the eyelashes and wisps of hair under the chin - my vote is for the first one.

I really like the muted colours... and the first pic really has POP quality to it. Superb!
Great composition too - I like how you've placed the eye dead centre.

Both the deer and the bees are super shots, which I don't seem to be able to match at the moment.
But I am spending time looking for a new motor. Priorities first.

I really like no 1 too. Lovely detail and colours and as bd said, tack sharp!
