Don't do wildlife.
#1

I don't do wildlife. I don't have an interest. But sometimes you see something you just have to snap.

No metadata. Probably Fuji FinePix S602 and a very early version of Photoshop.

FinePix S602 ZOOM, 1/105 sec, f2.8, ISO 200.

FinePix S9500, 1/1100 sec, f4.2, ISO 200.

Ask yourself, "What's most important for the final image?".

Nice work. And I know what you mean.

Nikon D3100 with Tokina 28-70mm f3.5, (I like to use a Vivitar .43x aux on the 28-70mm Tokina), Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye, Quanteray 70-300mm f4.5, ProOptic 500 mm f6.3 mirror lens. http://donschaefferphoto.blogspot.com/

These were all taken some time ago, prior to me finding the benefits of working in raw. The originals were simply camera JPEGs with simple corrections in Photoshop. Before posting them I did what I could, with the more modern software I now use, to bring out the best in them. I converted the JPEGs to TIFF files, did what could be done, then converted them back to JPEGs again, before posting.

Nice Captures John, I tend to photograph anything if it takes my fancy.

We Photographers deal in things which are continually Vanishing and when they have vanished, there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again. We cannot develope and print a memory.

Thanks, Doug. I tend to do the same. Just don't go out of my way to do wildlife.
