Flowers in Colour and B&W
#1

More flowers from me... I know, I promise I won't make it a habit.
(Keith, this would be sign f/2 of the apocalypse.)

I can't decide if I prefer the colour or B&W version. They're actually different photos, but taken with just a slight adjustment to the camera position.

I'm playing with the short DOF on this, and meant for it to focus on the stem, not the flower.

I think I like the colour one better... the b/w one is a little too... plain?

Thanks, Jules, I think I agree. I've just been in a B&W mood recently. Part of that mood may also be affecting my liking the increased negative space of the top photo.; perhaps a colour image with the same framing would work for me. As it stands, neither one really does it for me, although I like the idea behind it.

One of my best photographic accessories is my black couch. It's a great background.
