Fog And Birds
#1

I was shooting the tower disappearing into the fog when a mightly flock of birds flew into the frame, so I took a few more pictures.
I think they really improve it, especially since my passion lately has been capturing a sense of motion in a still image.

I'm also still laughing about a comment on this photo left at my blog.
The person challenged my assertion that they were birds, noting that it "...looks like San Antonio...lots of bats around there".

Skipping past the San Antonio part since it clearly says in two places on the page that I'm from SA:
It could be bats, except for the size, shape, speed, sound, and synchronized flight.
And the fact that it's daytime. Tongue Big Grin

Nice shot, I love fog shots. The birds definitely add to it.

I also like pictures of fog... I think the same as Craig, the birds add a lot to the picture.

I was wondering how this picture would be a little later, when it is getting dark. I don't remember to have seen night photography in foggy weather...

A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art.

Very cool, and the way the bats blur into the fog across the tower does add a great sense of motion.

Great capture, luckily and well seen.
