Foggy Highway
#1

I never get to photograph things in the fog, since around here that would mean in the morning and I don't exist in the morning. Tongue

So I jumped at the chance to experiment on a recent foggy night.
It was more difficult and counter-intuitive than I thought.

Keeping the lens dry--I'm good at that.
Choosing an exposure that showcases the subject and the fog--not easy.

Here's the only photo I like, and even this required lots of post work.

If the light was sodium colour (orange) It would come across more realistic, but it is how we get the fogs now.
The star gives it a Russian feel.
As a child/teen the pea soupers with gas light, were great.

This series just keeps getting better and better, Keith. You could do a exhibition just with this series.
