The tree looks rather fat/large/big/ heavy. Everything else is fine by me.
Lumix LX5. Canon 350 D.+ 18-55 Kit lens + Tamron 70-300 macro. + Canon 50mm f1.8 + Manfrotto tripod, in bag.

I am very happy you liked it... I took this picture in the fields of a restaurante that cooks venison... and it does it so delicious, btw. Following NT comment about the tree, I worked a second version. So I used the tree as a frame, and concentrate the deer a bit more. I also like it. Thanks again for your comments... beautiful!
somehow though, the way that just one of the deer is lit against the ultradark tree seems artificial.... not sure what to think about that. Uli

I prefer the composition of the first as well, although the new framing is also a good idea.

i think i like the first one too . Beautiful animals .....And picture
........ Shawn Canon 20d and a few cheap lenses .. It is our job as photographers to show people what they saw but didnt realize they saw it ......
