Forth Railway Bridge.
#1

The poor weather this morning got me thinking about another horrible day. The first time I went out with my then, brand new Nikon D80. Here is one of the images, of the Forth Railway Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Nikon D80, 1/60 sec, f7.1, ISO 200, 60 mm lens equivalent.

Plus another couple taken in better weather.

Nikon D80, 1/80 sec, f11, ISO 100, Aperture Priority, 72 mm lens equivalent

Nikon D80, 1/13 sec, f3.5, ISO 200, 27 mm lens equivalent.

Ask yourself, "What's most important for the final image?".

Very nice too, John T. Especially like your third shot . The first could be a scene from
" The Thirty Nine Steps ".
I have a shot of the Bridge taken when I was just starting in photography, taken with a Nikon P500 ( bridge ). It is in the section above -- Photo Association Chain, Post #57.

Nice image. I wonder how many times it gets photographed every day! Even added to the thread myself.
