Fountains And Convention Center
#1

Out with the old and in with the new, a 35+ year old building was demolished and this one took it's place.

Modern steel arches and old native stone facings combine in a not-unattractive way, and I chose to shoot from a location with moving water and trees as a foreground alternate subject in this long night exposure.
The middle-distance foliage and lower level fountains worked as a compositional and tonal barrier between the two, I hope.

Beautiful photo--clear, sharp, well exposed. I like the way you exposed for the water movement.

Nikon D3100 with Tokina 28-70mm f3.5, (I like to use a Vivitar .43x aux on the 28-70mm Tokina), Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye, Quanteray 70-300mm f4.5, ProOptic 500 mm f6.3 mirror lens. http://donschaefferphoto.blogspot.com/

The fountains seem to mimic the steel struts coming out of the wall - very nice.

Canon stuff.
