It is so satisfying when shots look great 'out-of-box' with no modification necessary...
1) The Grand River
2) The Old Mill & Parkhill Bridge
3) The Old Library
4) Main Street

Great shots. I haven't been there in a while. It's nice to see these photos. One suggestion. All your images need to be rotated a slight bit.
Sit, stay, ok, hold it! Awww, no drooling! :O

Thanks for the compliments, all.

Galt is an old city that is now part of the City of Cambridge along with the former cities of Hespeler and Preston.

I'm starting to realize that... Apparently, I am spending too much time worrying about exposure, etc.

Great! My favorite is #1. The smooth blue of the river and the reflection of the library just did it for me!

Love the third and last shots Cailean, have you invested in a lens hood yet? Might have helped with that flare on the last one.
I like your freaky negative avatar too. I stayed in Cambridge for a few weeks on my way to Nova Scotia, knew a lovely lass there too, far too young for me though even though I was only 24 at the time. I wasn't far from there on Fountain Street.

I actually leave the stock lens hood on 24/7 to protect the lens... The sun was setting just out of frame to the left behind that tree so I was lucky to get the shot I did...
