Gloucester Cathedral
#1

Took these four this morning whilst on a shopping trip (quick detour to take the snaps, as you do). All with the Nikon D7100 and all with a 35mm 1.8 - which is the equivalent of a full frame nifty fifty. I'm trying to just use the 35mm as much as possible at the moment. Much of the time this morning I was cursing the fact that I couldn't go wider and get more in, or I couldn't zoom closer. But that's the whole purpose - trying to force me to think a little harder, walk a little more, look a little deeper. I'm also working on perspective and angles at the moment - hence the nature of a couple of these.

Yes, nice images.

Ask yourself, "What's most important for the final image?".

"Experimental" ?

Over sharpening in the first, really, Jocko. Just to give the first one a more "drawing" result and I can't recall what I did with the second - more of a pen and ink feel to it, I guess. Not experimental in any great sense - just for me. These days I tend to go for the less is more approach to PP but with these I just allowed myself to have some fun.
