Katelyn, Jill, and I had an impromtu photo session tonight while they were getting ready to go out.
Based on their outfits I decided on a "Good versus Evil" theme, and I thought some kitchen utensils would make good props.
Shot with a 5D Mark II and Sigma 50mm f/1.4 using three strobes, cactus triggers, and a $5 home-made ring flash arrangement (a large pot-plant dish painted white with a hole cut out of it for the lens to poke through).
I also took a photo of Jill and attempted to give it a vintage look, as can be seen below.
Again shot with the 5D Mk2 and 50mm f/1.4. This time I went for a type of classic Rembrant lighting using a single strobe in a softbox. PP consisted of a bit of a soft-focus effect, channel mixing, curves, noise, and a sepia treatment in photoshop.
