Great Blue Heron!
Very nice.
#1's background really draws attention to the bird's head, and the shadow over the eye makes it look angry. The reflections in #2 really work well. The detail in #3 is sweet. Views Of Texas Loud Nine (my former band) Matthew's Reviews |

That first image is really striking. And I don't think I'd want to meet that bird in a dark alley.
In the third photo, is the bird sticking its tongue out at you? |

#1 seems as though you must have got wet, lying in wait for it.
Great shots all. I know they don't stand around humans. Lumix LX5. Canon 350 D.+ 18-55 Kit lens + Tamron 70-300 macro. + Canon 50mm f1.8 + Manfrotto tripod, in bag. |
