Schizopetalus - from the Greek schizo, to divide; meaning 'with cut petals'.

Taken at Birmingham Botanical Gardens UK using a Kodak DC210 1megapixel camera.

The photo is really good considering the lower resolution. I began my digital photography efforts with a Kodak DC280 2megapixel camera. At the time is was one of the hottest cameras on the market. It took very good pictures also. Interesting flower. I have not seen one in the wild.
