On a photo expedition, went by the first time and realized there was a house at the end of the stand of pines. Used my Nikon Coolpix at partial zoom and the black and white. No special settings.

I just love this! The perspective and composition are masterful.
Nikon D3100 with Tokina 28-70mm f3.5, (I like to use a Vivitar .43x aux on the 28-70mm Tokina), Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye, Quanteray 70-300mm f4.5, ProOptic 500 mm f6.3 mirror lens. http://donschaefferphoto.blogspot.com/

Like the crisp rendering of the trees and branches. Looks like a pen and ink drawing. Well done.

A much better shot than the colour version... - the orientation is better for the subject... I would have liked the crop to be a little tighter and lose the distraction of the material in the bottom left corner...
Kind regards Rolf In photography, the smallest thing can be a great subject. The little human detail can become a leitmotiv. —Henri Cartier-Bresson
