I tried emphasizing the water, but ended up emphasizing the sky. The sky says so much in this pic. I preserved the qualities of the water that I really liked. My crop line is across the entire bottom from under the dark line below the small foam area on the left side. This keeps the horizon below the middle but still gives character to the water, by showing some light and dark contrasts.

Hello cropster Pippin, Thank you for the suggestion. If I understand you correctly, you propose to crop allmost half of my water from the bottom. I love the arch a the bottom and that is the reason I took the photo(and the clouds of course too). I am not that fond of the crop you propose. However, it make work with the orginal photo, which, if I remeber has more sky. I will post that and see how that works with your suggestion. Thanks for taking time. pavel

I'm thinking that this might benefit from cropping the top and right side. Bringing the top down almost to the top of the utility pole to get rid of the brightest sky would focus the composition on the water and remove the nearly and blown bits. Taking off some more from the right would make cropping the arc of the wave look more intentional. I'd probably go as far as the point where the wet beach extends to the right, or the dark portion of the wall to the left of the right-most utility pole.
