My new toy... :)
#1

Few weeks ago I earned my first money taking pictures... Smile Someone wanted to have some portraits and pictures of his business and I did the job.

It was not so much but enough to buy my first softbox!! It is so cute... it is walimex pro, octagonal 60cm, and it is fantastic! The light is great! In some point I was afraid it wouldn't work fine because of the size, but I couldn't have anything bigger...

After fighting more than half an hour to build it up... I tried it just with things I had at hand... Amazing! 1/200sec., f22, ISO 100 and I only used 1/4 of the flash power... I am very happy because this will give me a lot of room to work, and for my setups...

Here are just my two tries...

Now you know what I will be working on in the next few days... Wink

Irma, with all your skill and hard work, it still gladdens me when a simple piece of kit has so much of a dramatic effect on someone's work: this is evidence that it is the photographer who is skilled rather than someone needing expensive lens/camera upgrades as soon as they're out to tell themselves they're any good. I think I'm sure in imagining that your motivation and "first love" of photography have been given a huge boost. Lovely to see...and Uli is right, such a professional look.
