Love them, used to shoot IR with my Fuji. Haven't tried with the Canon.

With the Fuji I just used an N72 IR filter I think it was, resulted in 3-5 second exposures mostly.

Think you may mean a Hoya R72 filter craig.

That's the one, left everything with a red tinge but easily fixed on post. The long exposure really limited what you could shoot though.

the r72 filter didn't work well with my canon gear several years ago. ended up with massive exposure times and a ton of noise. the fujis and r72 play much nicer together.
