Sure it's a cliche, but I couldn't resist. And that's wide-angle lens distortion, not a curved wall.

Beautiful and meaningful photo. I think the title says it all, even though it is a visual pun.
Nikon D3100 with Tokina 28-70mm f3.5, (I like to use a Vivitar .43x aux on the 28-70mm Tokina), Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye, Quanteray 70-300mm f4.5, ProOptic 500 mm f6.3 mirror lens. http://donschaefferphoto.blogspot.com/

Great shot. Just out of curiousity, posed or natural?

Thanks guys!
Not posed . Maddie had gone to that room ahead of me, and when I caught up she was standing there looking very awe-struck. There would have been better locations for a posed shot (no couch, no larger frame on one side) but that was the one. Pretty clean image for ISO400 on a G9; also reasonably sharp for 1/13s hand-held. Gotta like that built-in IS. _______________________________________ Everybody got to elevate from the norm!

Nice mitch! Very interesting capture! You should try some vignetting perhaps?

Great shot Mitch. The more I look at it the more I love it.
I know it isn't posed, but I don't think you could've posed it any better than this even if you tried. I really can't fault the composition. The overall geometry and the balance between symmetrical and asymmetrical elements is perfect IMHO.
