Looking Back
#1

Landscape photography is not my thing having more interest in flora and fauna, but on one occasion visiting my brother at Ambleside Cumbria I took this shot of Loughrigg tarn early on an Autumn morning.
A little hazy yet on the mountain tops as the sun had not yet completely dispersed the mist. As expected, total tranquility.

Delicious. Despite the sharp features in the foreground, the eye is readily taken to the centre of the scene and the soft colours...Jeff
