We've been to something called "Erlebniswald Trappenkamp" today - that would be "Adventure forest Trappenkamp" in English. It's really a nice place for kids, a lot of playgrounds to play while the grown-ups can barbecue... Besides this, they have pretty much nature, offered in handy small bites.
First we walked a learning-about-the-forest path, where I left Irma behind to stalk some deer. I got some pictures but nothing sharp, as the autofocus was distracted by all the twigs. I finally got a shot when the path ended into a dirt road. Note that the deer is on this side of the fence!
Next stop (after lunch) was the bee and butterfly garden. Even without bees and butterflies, it would have been a beautiful place with all the flowers. But the bugs were there, waiting for us.

These are some good shots from both of you. I love the colors in yours, G and Irma, catching the butterfly coming in to land like that must have taken a good deal of patience and a very steady hand. Well done, both!

It's awesome to be able to be in the midst of the wildlife and fauna.... and grab some shots too, I imagine!
Lovely series of butterfly pics - the DOF, detail and colour are fabulous.

The butterfly shots are great. So is the one with the bee landing (or hovering).
