Nikon D800 Rumours

Here's the latest set of rumours from the Nikon camp: some shots and specs for the full frame D700 replacement - the Nikon D800. If the specs are true then it's going to be smaller and lighter than the D700 but sporting a 36MP sensor.

No release date yet though... so take the above with a giant grain of salt.

Indeed. Am puzzled by the idea of Nikon feeling the need for 36MP, as it seems rather counterintuitive, unless they're wishng to go for a new uber-size of format...As you rightly advise Pavel. golf-ball sized grain.
