Last fall I saw this fungus like thing hanging down from a dead tree trunk, near the river. Never seen anything like it before. Had to step back a few feet cause all I had with me is a long lens, What do y'all think?

I hadn't seen this picture...

It seems to be a tooth mushroom, Hericium Americanum.
