Outside my door

I like the contrast between the wood and grass and the cold white of the house in the background. I couldn't come up with any idea of how to crop. What do you think, would a crop improve the picture?

Definately a crop. You have something nice happening there with the shed and the grass, but the top half of the photo is pulling your eye away from the primary area of interest - the bottom third of the photo. You can get a feeling of the house without including all of it - maybe crop just above the dark square window on the first floor - most of the house is obscured anyway...and maybe just a touch off the left side of the photo I think that would give you a tighter - more focused shot.

Thanks Toad! I am trying your suggestions...

I posted the picture in the "Fix me up" forum now, should have done this from the start.

I like the subject matter, although I tend to agree with Toad's suggestions - there's too much happening in the image. Need something definite as the subject...
