Penny Bun

Boletus edulis the cap of the fungus is said to resemble a bread bun that could be bought for a penny; indeed it did in some respects. We boys would pop into the local bakers and ask "got a penny bun mister" - we could usually find a penny in our pockets to spend.

I never use a tripod in the field, only for table top photography at home.
