We went to a workshop about matte cutters in Boesner, the house where G buys his painting material. We got this one this one It was cheap, 40euro more or less. I know it is not the best in the market but... they told me it will do a good job... let's see...

They also provide mattes very different qualities. I told him the kind of prints I wanted to have (Fine Art paper) and he explained that I should take care that the mattes are good quality not to hurt the print. Don't believe me much but I understood that there might be some kind of chemical reaction.... it was German so I just fished out some words about this matter.... Sad and G doesn't remember well... Rolleyes

A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art.

Quite right - you want to be sure to use "archival quality" matte board.
