I love the clarity in these - I never really though that birds have eye colour. Unfortunately, this one seems to be a little premature...

I've recently started going on some 'Birding' walks with a local nature group, and have come to appreciate why these creatures get called LFB's - Little Flighty Birds. (Except the word beginning with 'F' usually stands for something else after an hour or two of photography.) They're tough little subjects to catch.
