Here are three images from the 1960/70's, scanned from transparencies.

Now called Moto Cross but back then "Scrambling".

Britain's Stock Car Racing. Before it was spoiled by huge aerofoils on the roofs.

Motor cycle racing in the local park, Through an avenue of trees! Back in the days when a straw bale was considered adequate "Health and Safety".

Ask yourself, "What's most important for the final image?".

What about "stopped action"?

My apologies if you have seen this before, I think I posted it to the wrong thread 1st time around.

These two critters were circling each other and then suddenly KPOW!

This was a quick grab shot, I had been previously shooting landscapes with my 17-40mm lens on the camera so had to crop the original quite severely.

Canon 5d, 17-40 (at 40mm), f/4, 1/3200 sec, ISO 100

Here's a bit of 'action' you don't see every day.

Techie Stuff, each the same.

Nikon D300. F/4. 60th/sec. ISO200. 18mm. M/Mode Pattern. Flash, on camera SB800 bounced from ceiling. Nikkor 18 - 200 zoom. Post in PhotoPlus X5.

Hope these meet the criteria.

Best regards.

Phil.

Arequipa, Peru. Possibly unique to this area, bull fighting bull. Tremendous spectacle with a slight rodeo feel for drama but heavy rain.
