blue snow!
glowing blue-ish! Do you know, that reminds me, so much of... icecream. Blue icecream with chocolate chips. Coud you please us tell us more about this shot? have you done anything in photoshop? im not from froma country that snow adn i do not recall snow as a child. i do know that there are icebers that go blue becuase of the light. regards christian

Yes, the picture is PSed. Especially the snow, to bring out the color in it.
Snow has a tendency to reflect light and color, much the same as icebergs. When you have a blue sky, the shadows in the snow are blue, while the sunny parts seem to be white with a golden shine. Really white snow only exists on overcast days with diffuse lighting, and then you can't see any structures because white is just ... white. That's why skiers have polarizing glasses - to see structures in diffuse light.
