Very nice detail and texture! Hmm, "St. Patrick's Rose"... Why do I feel there should be a beer in the picture?

Very nice control over the DOF. There's just enough to get all of the subject in -- or enough to give the impression that it's all there -- but still short enough to not show too much of the background. (which looks a little like black plastic...?)

nice lighting, except that I agree with Mat that the plastic look in the background is a bit irritating.
