I bought this bouqet of sunflowers for my daughter because she was feeling a little low, and I took advantage of it being here to do a few macro shots.

Those flowers will cheer up your daughter... I always think about sunflowers as happy flowers...

Thanks everyone. Here's a link that will explain what the Orton technique is. I've seen several different methods, all similar, but this is pretty much the one I use.
