Hi, Pavel! I like this image with its moody look. A great capture in the low light. The shutter speed chosen exposed the waves very effectively, rendering them in a very realistic manner. I'm glad that you characterized the beach as rocky (rather than sandy). Now I know why it appears black as coal. At first I thought that the horizon was tilted... Horrors!... but I actually measured with a ruler and it's dead level.. Must be an optical illusion due to the different light intensities at the sides of the picture. I wouldn't crop anything. I think it's fine the way it is. Do you have a story to go along with this one? Anyway, good work!

Thanks Dennis - the challenge here was to cope with extreme contrast - followed the book instruction and it turned out better than my own usual tinkering. If all else fails, read the manual. Pavel
