Swimming Stoat
#1

Potteric Carr, Doncaster, S.Yorkshire.

Sitting quiet waiting for the possible return of a lesser spotted woodpecker seen fleetingly I noticed a disturbance on the opposite bank of a nearby stream, and as I concentrated on what it might be, a stoat slipped noiselessly into the water and crossed to some undergrowth on the near bank.
