Gonepteryx rhamni - With a flight period of March-October here in Yorkshire the Brimstone is usually the first butterfly to be seen in spring. Overwintered adults may also be occasionally seen in February.

Great shot! I like their camouflage, I would probably walk right past the guy thinking he's a leaf. Smile
