I don't know wether this is the right forum but...
On the original the sky was blown (I took several from different vantage points, all with blown sky) This has had a new sky added in Photoshop. Does it look correct?

Petographer. Sorry It just looks that way. The horizon as such is straight. The ground slopes up away from the camera and slopes down to the right a little. And the angle of the lake makes it look worse.
If I make it look straight the trees will fall over. ![]() The photo is a lake in the middle of Pontefract racecourse. UK. Banded Drake. Strange day. Very little wind, I walked around the lake, and took quite a few shots and every one is different. Ten yards forward and a wind on the water ruffled it all up, another ten yard and flat calm again. l could not explain it if I tried. I think the trees have grown that way with the prevailing wind over spring. Lumix LX5. Canon 350 D.+ 18-55 Kit lens + Tamron 70-300 macro. + Canon 50mm f1.8 + Manfrotto tripod, in bag. |

Love the reflections... and good job with the sky too! I can't tell that it's been photoshopped...

Good work with the photoshopping. I don't think the tilt is terribly noticable in this photo, it is so slight it doesn't bother me.

sg Wrote:NT, looks familiar .... is that the Island where Diana is buried???????? Fantastic shot by the way..........Thanks, and no it is not the island where Diana is buried. She is buried at Althorp, in Northamptonshire. The Spencer family home. Althorp is a large estate with a lake and an island. This one is just a big park lake, with rowing boats and ducks, coots and swans and an island. All set in the centre of the racetrack. On race days the horses run around the outside of this area, the circuit being about 2 miles long. Pontefract is in West Yorkshire, approximately 150 miles north of Althorp. Lumix LX5. This is another view, the island is on the right. I just stuck a bit of blue sky in again.
Hope I've straightened it enough. edit....forgot to paste the code. Lumix LX5. Canon 350 D.+ 18-55 Kit lens + Tamron 70-300 macro. + Canon 50mm f1.8 + Manfrotto tripod, in bag. |
