Olympus SP350 with auxillary lens to 16 mm equiv.
There's a lot of distortion with these cheap auxillary lenses but I find the effects interesting.

Nikon D3100 with Tokina 28-70mm f3.5, (I like to use a Vivitar .43x aux on the 28-70mm Tokina), Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye, Quanteray 70-300mm f4.5, ProOptic 500 mm f6.3 mirror lens. http://donschaefferphoto.blogspot.com/

Love these images. Love the subdued colours.

Ask yourself, "What's most important for the final image?".

Thanks guys. The lens distortion doesn't bother you?

This is the second time I have tried to reply. My PC keeps losing its network signal.
Anyway I love the shots of the Trees. I also like to take shots of trees.
Yesterday evening I took the dog a walk and I only had my mobile with me. a lesson learned there! the shot I got is an effect I have never seen before. With low resolution I don't think I can do any post-processing. I have attached it for your opinion. Hope it gets through to you.

This is very special. Sometimes less is really more.

Most unusual effect. You need a camera update for your mobile.Dodgy

Hello Jim.

Just in case you haven't yet spotted it, there is a thread here just for trees, which I'm sure you'll enjoy and hopefully add to:
