#2 and #3 are really good. I love the way the dragonfly mimics the shape of the grass beneath it in #3, and the way the markings on the wing align with the branch in #2. It adds very satisfying composition and graphic elements to the shots.

You have great detail, color and light in all your pictures John.

I tried this year with both the macro and long lenses and I didn't get anything nice... My pictures had so much contrast...

Irma, Spot metering helps alot on my 30D, also I always try to be away from the Sun.
