Here in the UK, the whole country goes to pot if we get 2mm of snow.
The younger people are here, the less snow they've seen.
One girl I work with complained of walking home in a "blizzard." As far as I knew, (and we only live 2 miles apart), it hadnt snowed at all!

Amazing stuff - it is 28 C here in Perth.

Someone told me that this was the first time (in X years, I suppose) that there was a white Christmas all across Canada. We had plenty of snow, but it's rained a lot and been warm since then, so all that's left are those sooty mounds of ice from the roads. It's not pretty any more.
